Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor RN located in Lynchburg, Virginia. This position involves working on the Diabetic Renal Unit (DRMU) in a teaching hospital setting, with responsibilities including charge nursing. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. Orientation start dates are set for 07/27/2026 and 08/03/2026. • Required Qualifications: Active Virginia or Compact License required at time of submission; 2 years of experience in relevant specialty; BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred; teaching hospital and charge experience preferred; all RTO must be in the submission packet.
• Preferred Qualifications: Charge experience, teaching hospital experience.
• Additional Information: Position involves working in a teaching hospital environment with frequent interactions with students and new hires. The facility accepts approved declinations for Covid-19 and Influenza vaccinations. The RN will do charge duties as required, with appropriate pay differential and training. Assignments may end early due to census, and the client can cancel up to 36 hours prior.
