Description
Job Summary: Chattanooga, Tennessee Certified Operating Room Tech (ORT CERT)
The organization is seeking a Certified Operating Room Tech to support surgical services within the main campus surgery setting. The role requires circulating experience in orthopedic and spine surgical procedures, with neurosurgical and robotic exposure preferred. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Shift: Days; shift hours: 8; minimum hours per week: 40
- Required Qualifications:
- CST National certificate (required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Tennessee (TN) nursing license
- Previous experience circulating in orthopedic and spine surgical procedures
- Critical thinking and customer service skills
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Neurosurgical experience
- General and robotic experience
- Additional Information:
- Surgical cases may include total joints, spine fusions, neurosurgical procedures (including craniotomies), robotic procedures, general surgical procedures, urology, and cardiovascular procedures (including open heart).
- Documentation system: Meditech
- Scheduling requirements may include either 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. or 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
