Job Summary:
The healthcare organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) for a full-time position in Maysville, Kentucky. The role involves providing post-anesthesia recovery care within a surgical services setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment. The position is scheduled for dayshift hours, starting on 07/20/2026.

Job Details:

• Location: Maysville, Kentucky
• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
• Shift: 8 hours per day, Dayshift, with a weekly guarantee of 40 hours
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; Certifications including Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS); Education requirements as a registered nurse; minimum of 0 years of experience in a related setting; located in Kentucky or willing to commute; good standing in nursing practice.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with geriatric, pediatric, and adult patient populations; familiarity with surgical and post-anesthesia care procedures.
• Float: No float rotation required.
• Additional Information: The role involves being on call with required call hours, managing patient ratios of 2:1, and utilizing Electronic Health Records (EHR). The candidate will operate in a team led by supervisor Shana Morrison. Responsibilities include caring for a diverse patient population with common diagnoses and treatments relevant to the surgical recovery setting. Attire consists of navy scrubs, and unacceptable attire is not specified.
