Description

Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Surgery Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Wichita, Kansas. This role involves providing specialized perioperative care within the OR unit, specifically supporting orthopedic, neurological, and vascular cases utilizing DaVinci Robotics. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment. The position is scheduled to start on June 25, 2026.

Job Details:

Location: Wichita, Kansas
Shift: Day Shift, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week, scheduled for 10-hour shifts
Schedule: 48 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with on-call responsibilities requiring a response time of 30 minutes, one weekend per month, and one week day per month
Required Qualifications: Current acute care Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) hospital experience with a minimum of 1 year, BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications, knowledge and experience working with DaVinci Robotics, orthopedic, neurology, and vascular procedures, prior Meditech electronic medical record (EMR) experience, Kansas licensure preferred
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neuro and vascular cases, prior Meditech EMR experience, experience with DaVinci Robotics is highly preferred
Additional Information: No time off permitted during assignment dates of 06/29/2026 through 08/08/2026; assignment includes participation in on-call rotation with a 30-minute response time. The facility has 28 beds and staff type includes RN, CNA, and sitters supporting the OR surgery unit. The unit performs procedures such as orthopedics, gynecology, urology, cardiothoracic, vascular, plastics, spine, neuro, and trauma.
