Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit Neurological Nurse Educator position is located in Bozeman, Montana. This role involves developing and implementing educational programs and professional development initiatives for healthcare staff in a neurosurgical intensive care setting. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: Bozeman, Montana

- Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing; Montana Licensure (Registered Nurse); minimum of 3 years clinical nursing experience and/or equivalent health teaching experience; minimum of 1 year of education/training in administrative, management, and leadership principles and practices; EMR: EMR; Ability to work varied shifts; Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines; Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; Computer applications, MS Office, EMR, internet applications and standard office equipment; Self-directed, completes assignments accurately, thoroughly and with minimal oversight; Detail oriented, organizational skills; Strong emotional intelligence, interpersonal and teamwork skills; Must reside at least 90 miles from the facility.
- Preferred Qualifications: Instructor certification in any discipline of American Heart Association (AHA); Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC); Emergency Nurses Pediatric Course (ENPC); Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); S.T.A.B.L.E.; TeamSTEPPS; Certification in Nursing Professional Development or area of specialty.
- Schedule: The position may necessitate working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts. On-call work may be required.
- Additional Information: Facility reserves the right to cancel three (3) shifts per 13-week contract in the event of low census or other unforeseen circumstances. Candidates must meet the travel distance requirement of living at least 90 miles away from the facility.
