Description
Job Summary:
This position is for a Certified Operating Room Technician in Anchorage, Alaska. The role involves assisting in a busy surgical unit with a focus on total joints, neuro surgeries, and Xi robotic procedures, including Da Vinci Xi Robotic Spinal Fusions. Candidates are required to bring their certification and license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Location: Anchorage, Alaska
- Address: 2801 Debarr Road, Anchorage, AK 99508
- Shift: 10 hours (06/14/2026 - 07/24/2026)
- Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certified Operating Room Technician certification (NBSTSA), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, educational requirements, and no minimum years of experience specified
- Experience Needed: Experience with Da Vinci Xi Robotic Spinal Fusion (orthopedic or neuro services), orthopedics including Total Joint Arthroplasty, proficiency with Melery of OR beds and equipment, Epic electronic medical record system, and patient advocacy skills. Candidates without these skills will not be considered.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with total joints, neuro, and Xi Robots procedures such as GYN, colorectal, and general surgeries
- Call Requirements: Must be willing to take call as specified above
- Patient Ratios: 1:1
- Equipment: Variety of OR beds and equipment
- Additional Information: Must adhere to unit policies and dress code; scrubs provided by the facility
