This Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor Nurse position is located in an inpatient rehabilitation unit in Independence, Missouri. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care in a well-maintained rehab environment with modern equipment and private rooms. Job Details:

• Job Title: Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor Nurse
• Location: Independence, MO
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, every 3rd weekend
• Required Qualifications: Current nursing license; BLS certification; Inpatient Acute Rehabilitation experience; Med/Surg nursing experience; familiarity with FIM (Functional Independence Measure) and CARE (Continuous Assessment and Review Evaluation) tool measures; Meditech 5.6 electronic medical record experience; no specific degree or years of experience required beyond qualified practice; candidate must be licensed in Missouri and have basic nursing qualifications.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with inpatient acute rehabilitation settings and familiarity with rehab-specific assessment tools.
• Additional Information: Well-kept rehab unit with all private rooms, new equipment, and all rooms set up as Rehab Suites. An orientation period of one week will be included to ensure seamless integration and quality care delivery. Current staff members possess four or more years of experience as registered nurses. Flexible scheduling options available upon request.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to similar units within the organization.
