Description
Job Summary:
A registered nurse (RN) position specializing in medical-surgical rehabilitation is available in Austin, Texas. The role involves working on a multi-specialty rehab floor with geriatric and adult patient populations. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of work. The position is scheduled for daytime shifts, and the initial start date is set for July 13, 2026, for a duration of approximately 13 weeks.
Job Details:
- Location: Austin, TX
- Position: Registered Nurse (RN)
- Specialty: Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor (MS REHAB)
- Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse Licensure, BLS certification (acceptable from AHA or Red Cross), at least 6 months of medical-surgical experience, basic computer knowledge, effective communication skills in English (verbal & written), ability to notify physicians in SBAR format, and ability to work independently.
- Preferred Qualifications: Same as above.
- Float Requirements: N/A
- Additional Information: Weekend hours are every other weekend (Friday to Sunday) required. If the nurse calls out on a weekend, they must make up the shift on the following weekend with a minimum 2-hour notice before shift start.
