Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) care is needed at an acute care facility located in Birmingham, Alabama. This position involves providing specialized post-cardiac surgery patient care in a 11-bed ICU setting. The role requires a dedicated professional with strong clinical skills to deliver high-quality patient care during night shifts.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 3x12, Nights, Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Required Qualifications: Valid BLS, ACLS, and NIH (All AHA) certifications; minimum of 2+ years of ICU experience; location in Birmingham, Alabama
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in cardiac and cardiovascular surgery units; outgoing personality fit; ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Additional Information: The unit primarily cares for post cardiac surgery patients. Candidate must be adaptable to float to other intensive care units and medical-surgical units as needed. Dress code requires navy scrubs with no fleece attire.
