Job Summary:
This Labor and Delivery Department (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Morgantown, West Virginia. The role involves providing specialized care in a high-risk obstetric setting, supporting active labor, triage, and postpartum patients. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Morgantown, West Virginia
• Shift Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM 7:30 AM) with weekends and holidays rotating as per unit policy
• Required Qualifications: Valid license to practice, willing to wait for license approval, minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification, AWHONN (Association of Womens Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses) Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification. EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) experience and IV placement skills are also required.
• Preferred Qualifications: C-section experience and the ability to support high-risk labor and antepartum patients.
• Experience Required: 2 years of relevant obstetric nursing experience.
• Additional Information: The unit emphasizes one-to-one active labor care, triage with a 1:3 ratio, and postpartum care with a 1:6 ratio. OB/Neonatologist in-house 24/7, IV Team in place, RT (Respiratory Therapist) in-house 24/7, Pharmacy available 24/7, and floating may be required with floor-specific orientation.

• Other Notes: Submission must occur through one position at a time across the entire healthcare provider system; driver's license address must be outside 50 miles from the facility; previous permanent candidates must be gone for 2 years; previous travelers there for 1 year must be gone for 2 years.
• Shift Notes: 3-12 hour night shifts (7:00 PM 7:30 AM), weekends, and holidays as per unit policy.
