Job Summary:
This opportunity is for a Surgical Technician First Assistant at a healthcare provider located in Brooksville, Florida. Candidates must possess vein harvesting experience and be certified through NBSTSA, NSAA, or ABSA. The role involves supporting surgeons during surgical procedures, including patient positioning, surgical prepping, and assisting with wound closure. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Brooksville, FL
• Shift: 10 hours per day, daytime schedule from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM with call responsibilities
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
• Required Qualifications: EVH (Endovascular Vein Harvesting) certification through NBSTSA, NSAA, or ABSA; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through CAAHEP or CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification through ABHES; 3 years of cardiovascular experience; no internal notes or assumptions based on provided information.
• Schedule: 10-hour days with call, weekday coverage from the end of the scheduled shift through 7:00 AM the following morning, weekend and holiday coverage from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM the following day.
• Experience: 3 years of cardiovascular experience required, non-negotiable.
