Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse in Fredericksburg, Texas. This position involves providing critical nursing care in a fast-paced Emergency Department. • Required Qualifications: A Registered Nurse license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), 0 years of minimum experience, Texas location, certifications valid at the time of assignment.
• Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years recent Emergency Department experience, previous experience as a charge nurse or ability to multi-task and think independently.
• Additional Information: The unit has 11 beds with a staff of 28, including charge nurses, RNs, and PCTs. Equipment used includes Phillips monitors, HillRom beds, Omnicell, GE EKG machines, Lifepak 20e defibrillator, Lucas device, and Verathon bladder scanner. The EMR system used is Meditech Expanse.
• Dress Code: Scrubs in Navy Blue.
• Schedule: Night shifts, starting 07/20/2026, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
