Job Summary:
An administrator position is available in the Admissions and Transfer Center in Wausau, Wisconsin. This role involves coordinating patient transfers, facilitating communication between healthcare teams, and ensuring efficient patient flow within a system supporting multiple hospitals. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Position: Administration Admissions and Transfer Center
- Location: Wausau, Wisconsin
- Shift: 12-hour days or nights with variable start times (7am, 11am, 1pm, and 7pm)
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
- Required Qualifications: Associate Degree or Certificate, Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) License, American Heart Association (AHA) or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, 0 years of experience (additional preferred experience of 3-5 years ICU or Emergency Room experience, Trauma Level II experience required, Transfer Call Center experience highly preferred, Epic charting experience required)
- Preferred Qualifications: 5 years experience in ICU or ER settings, Trauma Level II experience, Transfer Call Center experience, Epic charting experience
- Schedule: 12 hours per shift, days or nights, with variable start times and every other weekend and holiday shifts
- Additional Information: The contract is eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours; travelers can be put on call during these hours with callback pay if called back. The week of orientation GSA hours are not guaranteed. During flu and COVID season, vaccination compliance is mandatory; those declining must wear masks at all times.
