Description
Job Summary:
A registered nurse (RN) opportunity in the Step Down Unit located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role involves working in a specialized unit that may include Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Medical-Surgical Telemetry Acute Care settings. Candidates are expected to demonstrate proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems with experience in EPIC and have a minimum of two years of relevant acute care experience. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

- Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
- Shift Time: Nights
- Shift Hours: 12 hours per shift
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
- Start Date: 07/12/2026
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license; Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); minimum of two years of experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Medical-Surgical Telemetry Acute Care; experience with EPIC electronic medical record system; ability to float within skill set or to sites within 40 miles as needed.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a fast-paced acute care environment, particularly with step-down or telemetry units.
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The position may require floating onsite within the skill set or to other sites within 40 miles based on staffing needs. Candidates must be prepared for an immediate start by 07/12/2026 to be considered for the elevated rate.
