Job Summary:
The location is in Mesa, Arizona. This position is for a Sterile Processing Technician at a healthcare facility. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role involves supporting sterile processing operations, ensuring surgical instrumentation and supplies are properly decontaminated, assembled, sterilized, and ready for use in surgical procedures.

Job Details:

Position: Sterile Processing Technician
Shift Hours: 8 hours per shift
Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
Start Date: 07/06/2026
Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED or equivalent; mechanical aptitude with the ability to break down moving parts, clean, lubricate, reassemble, and problem-solve issues such as incomplete trays and missing instrumentation; effective organizational, communication, and human relation skills. Certified as an SPD (Sterile Processing Department) Technician within one year of hire.
Preferred Qualifications: Additional related education and/or experience is preferred.
Additional Information: Does not allow for religious exemptions for COVID vaccination at the healthcare facility.
Physical Demands/Environment: Able to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently; lift up to 75 pounds; work safely around bio-hazardous materials, chemicals, high noise levels, confined spaces, and heights; use proper body mechanics for heavy equipment; requires adequate color vision and protective clothing as needed.
Notes: The position requires flexibility to rotate shifts and adjust hours as needed, with consistent attendance and professional appearance.
