Description
Job Summary:
This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Aspen, Colorado. The RN will provide nursing care as part of the interdisciplinary team within a rural Critical Access Hospital. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Location: Aspen, Colorado
- Position: Registered Nurse (RN) in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
- Shift Hours: 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM (Evenings)
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0
- Start Date: 07/13/2026
- Required Qualifications: Associate degree in Nursing (ADN); Unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (may be obtained upon hire); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification; At least 2 years of experience as an RN; Must be healthy enough to safely function in a low oxygen environment at 8,000 feet elevation.
- Additional Information: Travel nurses are responsible for securing their own housing. Housing options in surrounding towns such as Basalt, Carbondale, and Glenwood Springs should be considered, with a typical rental cost of $3,500/month for a one-bedroom apartment in Basalt. RTO (request for time off) is not accepted for this assignment.
- Note: Not accepting any RTO requests.
