Job Summary:
A registered nurse specializing in Medical Surgical Acute Care and Observation Units is needed in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. This position involves providing high-quality nursing care in a busy acute care setting, utilizing specialized knowledge related to patient care for critical conditions. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of work.

Job Details:

• Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
• Shifts: 12-hour night shifts including weekend rotation; must participate in call rotation and take 1 call shift per 2-week period as needed
• Required Qualifications: Current RN license to work in Colorado; BLS and ACLS certifications issued by the American Heart Association; at least 3 years of RN Med Surg experience; a minimum of 2 years of experience in Acute Care/Med Surge/Telemetry or similar RN roles
• Schedule: 36 hours per week minimum with a 12-hour shift
• Additional Information:
  1. RADIUS RULE: Traveler's permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from the facility
  2. CAPS Requirement: Apply at (may take up to two weeks to obtain)
  3. Candidates must verify that their Social Security Number and Date of Birth are accurate in Medefis to avoid onboarding delays
• Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS issued by the American Heart Association
• Vaccinations: Mandatory flu vaccination (no declinations accepted) from October 1st through April 1st of the current flu season
