Description

Job Summary:
The Gastroenterology Laboratory (GI LAB) registered nurse position is located in Roseville, California. This role involves working in a community hospital setting, providing specialized care within the GI LAB. Candidates are required to bring their California Registered Nurse (RN) license on the first day of employment. The position entails a shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with varied days, holidays, weekends, and call responsibilities as outlined below.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 08:00-16:30, varied days, holidays, weekends (1 weekend per month), and call (overnight from 4:30 PM to 8:00 AM). Response time for call is 30 minutes.
  • Required Qualifications:
    • Certifications: AHA or ARC certifications, including ACLS and BLS
    • Education and Licensure: Valid California RN license, uploaded Nursys documentation within the last 2 weeks
    • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a clinical setting, with previous charge nurse experience preferred
    • Location: Must have a valid California RN license
    • Additional: Candidates must provide accurate work history going back 7 years, two references within the last year, and certifications with valid expiration dates
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience in community hospital, LTAC (Long Term Acute Care), Trauma Level I or II settings, or travel nursing experience is considered advantageous
  • Float: Float rotation may be required if applicable
  • Additional Information:
    • Onboarding requires completion of lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
    • All compliance documents are due 10 days prior to the start date
    • Modules are non-billable, typically requiring 1-5 hours during orientation, and are recorded through e-learning
