Job Summary:
The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Paris, Texas. This role involves providing comprehensive care within a dedicated Labor and Delivery unit. Candidates are required to bring their RN license to work in Texas. The position requires proficiency and independence in labor management, with a focus on ensuring safe and efficient care for patients across all age groups. The work schedule is for night shifts, offering a weekly guarantee of 36 hours. The role is ideal for motivated and upbeat professionals committed to delivering high-quality maternity care.

Job Details:

• Location: Paris, TX
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certification and licensure required to work as an RN in Texas, including RN License in Texas, ACLS, AWHONN, BLS, HWC, NRP, and PALS certifications; at least 2+ years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Preferred Qualifications: Labor management, OB triage, and experience circulating cesarean sections.
• Float: Float rotation may be required as needed.
• Additional Information: Orientation is weekly, on Mondays. Candidate must be at least 60 miles from the facility to be considered for travel. Candidates must be proficient and independent in labor management.
• Unit Details:
  • Number of beds: 9
  • Patient ratios: 1:1 or 1:3
  • Equipment: Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM), IV pump, Non-invasive Blood Pressure (NIBP) monitor
  • EMR: GE Centricity, Meditech
  • Common diagnoses/treatments include labor, pre-term labor, vaginal delivery, cesarean section, pregnancy complications
• Dress Code: Scrubs provided; no unnatural hair color or casual wear allowed
