Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical Float Position Santa Fe, NM. This position involves providing high-quality patient care across various Medical Surgical units within a healthcare organization. The RN will coordinate and implement patient care plans, perform assessments, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes during night shifts.

Job Details:

Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM 7:00 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license; BLS Certification via American Heart Association (AHA); ACLS Certification via AHA; minimum of 3 years of nursing experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience as a Medical Surgical RN, float position experience, excellent communication skills, strong clinical proficiency for adult patient populations.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information: The RN will be responsible for obtaining and recording initial assessments, developing measurable individualized plans of care, implementing timely interventions, and performing Point of Care testing procedures. The role emphasizes effective communication, teamwork, patient-centered care, and adherence to organizational policies. Ability to adapt to dynamic work environments and support unit growth and development is essential.
Schedule: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM, full-time position with minimum of 36 hours weekly.
Location: 455 Saint Michaels Drive, Santa Fe, NM 87505.
Other Requirements: Graduation from an accredited RN program, current state license, required certifications obtained within specified timeframes, and adherence to safety and policy guidelines.
