Description

Job Summary:
The emergency room (ER) nursing position is located in Kenosha, Wisconsin. This role involves providing critical care to all patient ages in a Level IV Trauma Center, Primary Stroke Center, and Accredited Chest Pain Center. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of service.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Trauma Nursing Society (TNS), Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) or Management of Aggression and Assault Behavior (MOAB). Skills required: critical care level skill set. Experience: 2 years. Location: Kenosha, WI.
  • Preferred Qualifications: First-time traveler
  • Other Notes: Orientation consists of at least one shift for flow orientation. Weekend rotation is one weekend per month. Up to 7 days of approved time off. No call required. No holiday expectations. Scrub color is any solid color, professional, with no graphics, logos, or designs. Parking is free.
  • Additional Information: Charge nurse reduced patient assignment, hospitalist in house 24/7, emergency department physician in house 24/7, health Unit Coordinator (HUC), 24/7, phlebotomy support for peripheral blood draws, nursing station telemetry monitoring without tele tech, orientation period for flow learning.
