Job Summary:
The Operating Room (OR) RN position is based in Farmington, New Mexico. Candidates must bring their license on the first day and should be prepared to start within 10 business days of offer acceptance. The role involves supporting patients and surgeons with a variety of surgical procedures, including trauma cases, requiring a highly skilled and confident OR nurse.

Job Details:

• Location: Farmington, New Mexico
• Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, four days per week with variable call (4-5 shifts per month) and a weekly guarantee of 40 hours
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications from the American Heart Association; with at least 2 years of experience supporting patients and surgeons in the operating room, including trauma cases; proficiency in Neuro, Orthopedic, Trauma, Vascular, and OBGYN surgical procedures; experience with Cerner electronic health record system; education must include RN qualification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Ability to anticipate instruments, supplies, and equipment needs for diverse surgical cases; confidence and competence in handling both quick lap procedures and complex abdominal or chest trauma cases.
• Additional Information: Candidates must demonstrate a minimum overall skills checklist rating of 3.2, supporting diverse patient populations of all ages. The role requires supporting significant traumatic injuries with a high degree of skill, responsiveness, and confidence.
