Job Summary:
Pediatric Psychology (Psychiatry) in Bangor, Maine. This position involves providing behavioral health nursing care at a free-standing inpatient facility specializing in pediatric mental health. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role requires flexibility to float between adult and pediatric units as needed, with an ASAP start date.

Job Details:

• Address: 268 Stillwater Avenue, Bangor, ME 04401
• Minimum years of experience required: 1 year of Behavioral Health nursing required, with Pediatric Behavioral Health experience preferred.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS); Maine State License; MOAB obtained on site (part of orientation)
• Skills required: De-escalation experience, experience with physical restraints (chemical restraints are NOT used), medication passes, comfortability to run groups, documentation.
• Schedule: First week (Monday-Friday) working daytime shifts; second week (12-hour shifts as scheduled).
• Additional Information: Expected to work holidays in rotation.
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required between all units, adult and pediatric.
• Other notes: During interview, candidates should be aware of escalation protocols and scenario-based training. MOAB will be reviewed on site, and staff are encouraged to speak up if additional practice is needed.
