Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse assignment in Duluth, MN. This position involves providing specialized perioperative nursing care within a hospital setting, focusing on various surgical procedures including general surgery, robotic surgery, C-section, orthopedics, urology, ENT, OB/GYN, and others. The role requires proficiency in circulating responsibilities and experience with charting systems, particularly Epic, to support surgical teams during complex procedures.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour rotating shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Shift times vary between 0700-1930, 1100-2330, and 1900-0700.
• Required Qualifications: RN licensure in Minnesota, AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification, at least two years of OR experience, including experience with general surgery, robotic surgery, C-section, orthopedics (including total joints), urology, ENT, OB/GYN, and proficient in charting with Epic preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with surgical circulating, strong robotic surgery skills, and ability to adapt to change; social candidates who are resilient and hard workers are encouraged to apply.
• Additional Information:
  • This contract is for 13 weeks, beginning on 10/05/2026 and ending on 01/04/2027.
  • The position requires working during holiday periods as needed with a rotation of two out of four weekends.
  • Candidates must be willing to comply with vaccination policies during flu season, including mask mandates for those declining flu and COVID vaccinations, in accordance with organizational policy.
  • Orientation week included; scrub colors will be provided.
  • The healthcare provider may have low census periods, during which staff can be on call with a minimum two-hour callback expectation.
