Description
Job Summary:
Operating Room Technologist (OR) in Bridgeport, Connecticut. This role involves supporting complex surgical procedures across various specialties including General, Robotics (DaVinci & Mako Orthopedic), Urology, ENT, Neuro (cervical fusion and lumbar laminectomy), Plastics (abdominoplasty and breast augmentation), and Gynecology. The position requires candidates to bring their license on the first day and is scheduled for day shifts.
Job Details:
- Location: Bridgeport, Connecticut
- Shift Time: 10 hours
- Schedule: 40 hours per week, dayshift (6 weekdays and 6 weekends calls over a 6-week schedule)
- Required Qualifications: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST), NBSTSA certification, and Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA). No minimum years of experience specified.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in General surgery, Robotics (DaVinci & Mako Orthopedic), Urology, ENT, Neuro (including cervical fusion and lumbar laminectomy), Plastics (including abdominoplasty and breast augmentation), GYN, with specialization in orthopedic procedures such as total knee replacements and total hips (anterior and posterior approach).
- Additional Information: Candidate must have prior travel experience. Incumbents are expected to work occasional weekends and support a busy surgical schedule.
