Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) for a position in the Cardiac Cath Laboratory (CCL) in Hyannis, Massachusetts. This role involves delivering patient care in an acute cardiac unit or stepdown setting, with responsibilities including patient assessment, medication monitoring, and coordinating care activities. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

  • Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (RN), currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, with current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), CCHC Pharmacology Exam (pass prior to start date), CCHC Basic Arrhythmia Exam (pass prior to start date), and certification as a Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) or Certified Radiology Nurse (CRN). Proficiency in I.V. administration, telemetry monitoring, and experience in cardiovascular interventional nursing within the last five years.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Current cardiovascular interventional nursing experience within the last 5 years, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), and certifications such as CCRN or CRN.
  • Additional Information: On-call duties are required for off-shift hours, weekends, and holidays. Use of lead apron is necessary for procedures.
  • Clinical Responsibilities: Providing patient assessment, medication administration, telemetry monitoring, maintaining accurate patient records, participating in staff meetings and committees, and adhering to safety policies.
  • Schedule: 8-hour shifts on a rotating schedule, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
