A registered nurse specializing in operating room (OR) care is sought for a position in Duluth, Minnesota. This assignment requires candidates to bring their license on the first day and involves working a rotating schedule consisting of both 8-hour and 12-hour shifts. The role emphasizes general surgery experience and teamwork.

Job Details:

Location: Duluth, Minnesota
Schedule: The schedule consists of four shifts per week, including a mix of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts to support coverage needs. The preferred structure includes two 8-hour shifts and two 12-hour shifts per week. Typical 8-hour shifts may include 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM, or 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM. Typical 12-hour shifts may include 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM. Shift times may vary based on department needs and staffing requirements.
Required Qualifications: Minnesota RN licensure, Associate Degree or Certificate, at least 2 years of OR experience including one travel assignment, certifications in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS), experience in General Surgery and circulating roles, minimum of 0 years of experience, and candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility.
Preferred Qualifications: Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience.
Additional Information: Contract length of 13 weeks, guaranteed 36-40 hours per week, weekend work includes two out of every four weekends, and scrub colors are provided by the facility. Flexibility with shifts is highly preferred. The contract includes up to 36 hours of non-billable low census time.
