Description
Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) in Baltimore, Maryland. This role involves providing critical care in a fast-paced Emergency Department, serving patients across all age groups with complex diagnoses such as trauma, behavioral health concerns, and medical emergencies. Candidates are required to bring their Maryland RN license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Position: Emergency Room RN (ER RN)
- Location: Baltimore, Maryland
- Shift Schedule: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-07:30)
- Experience: 0 years minimum experience required, with 2 years of related clinical experience preferred
- Certifications: Active Maryland RN license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale)
- Additional Requirements: Flu vaccine required; no exemptions. Previous charge nurse experience, charting system familiarity (Epic preferred), and trauma level I experience are preferred but not mandatory.
- Patient Care: Management of complex emergency conditions including airway management, cardiac monitoring, medication administration, ventilated patient care, trauma procedures, and behavioral health interventions.
- Other Details: All candidates must be comfortable floating within their scope of practice without restrictions. Candidates must accept assignments without interviews and be available to start on 07/20/2026. RTO (Request for Time Off) allowed from 10/04/2026 to 10/10/2026, with the possibility of adding an additional week if needed.
