Job Summary:
A MedSurg (Medical Surgical Floor) registered nurse position is available in Jamestown, North Dakota. The role involves working on a unit that requires experience with dressing changes, vents, and IV starts, utilizing electronic medical records such as EPIC. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of shift. This is a nights shift requiring the full commitment of a 12-hour schedule, with weekend rotations.
Job Details:
- Location: Jamestown, North Dakota
- Position: Medical Surgical Floor Nurse
- Shift: 12-hour nights, generally every third weekend
- Schedule: 36 hours per week, with floating to other units or departments as needed
- Required Qualifications: Valid North Dakota or Compact Nursing License; BLS certification; minimum of 2 years of experience in MedSurg and Telemetry; experience with dressing changes, vents, IV starts, and tele monitoring; EMR experience with EPIC system

- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: Unit involves procedures such as dressing changes, vents, IV starts, and telemonitoring, with utilization of EPIC EMR system. Orientation includes 8 hours of non-billable training. Candidates should be prepared for a one-week orientation period.
