Description
Job Summary:
A Medical Surgical Oncology Nurse is needed in Porter Ranch, California. This role involves providing specialized care to adult oncology patients in a hospital setting, focusing on outpatient oncology treatments and patient education. The selected candidate must bring their nursing license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Location: Porter Ranch, CA
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) and Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) chemo certification; 2-3 years of outpatient oncology nursing experience; license required; experience with Epic electronic medical record system
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous outpatient oncology experience preferred but not specified
- Float: No; float rotation may be required based on clinic needs, but currently not scheduled to float
- Additional Information: No on-call requirement, no first-time traveler acceptance, and the candidate must meet the facilitys RTO guidelines of under 7 days for planned time off
