Job Summary:
This position is for a Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) located in Lewisville, Texas, within a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. The role involves providing specialized care in a state-of-the-art cath lab environment, supporting procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, pacemaker and implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) placements, transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), cardioversions, EP studies, and ablations. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day to qualify for this position.

Job Details:

• Location: Lewisville, Texas
• Type of Facility: Cath Lab unit with 1 bed and 6 staff members
• Schedule: 10-hour shifts, rotating between days and nights, with a minimum of 40 hours per week; minimum of two weekends per month, rotating
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Registration Cardiac Interventional Specialist (RCIS), and Respiratory Therapy (RRT); relevant experience in a cath lab setting; no minimum years of experience specified.
• Preferred Qualifications: EP scrub experience, EP monitor experience.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to help within the facility or to a sister facility within a reasonable radius.
• Additional Information: The role involves working in a fast-paced environment requiring attention to detail, calmness under pressure, teamwork, compassion, adaptability, strong communication skills, and physical stamina. Candidates will support procedures such as Left Heart Catheters, PCIs, Pacemaker/ICD implants, TEE, cardioversion, loop recorders, EP studies, and ablations.
