Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Trauma Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is needed in Reno, Nevada. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care to critically injured and surgical patients within a fast-paced, Level II trauma center. Candidates are required to bring their Nevada RN license on the first day of employment. The position offers an opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility committed to clinical excellence and patient-centered care.
Job Details:
- Position: Registered Nurse - Trauma ICU
- Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Trauma
- Location: Reno, Nevada
- Schedule: 3x12 nights shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Nevada RN license required prior to start; BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS (APEX) certifications; minimum of 2 years of Trauma ICU experience required. CCRN certification is strongly preferred but not mandatory.
- Preferred Qualifications: CCRN certification preferred.
- Float: Float rotation may be required up to the competency level of the traveler.
- Additional Information: Travelers may be required to work major holidays and pick up an additional shift during each schedule period. The employer reserves the right to cancel shifts without penalty with 48 hours' notice, based on census needs. The schedule varies according to departmental requirements and may include weekends, holidays, and call shifts.
