Job Summary:
A registered nurse is needed for a position in a Cardiac Vascular & Post Surgical Stepdown Unit in Neptune, New Jersey. The role involves evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care activities. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This position requires providing patient-centered care while following clinical standards.

Job Details:

• Location: Neptune, New Jersey
• Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM 7:30 AM, three shifts per week, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: ASN or BSN, NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license, ACLS (American Heart Association), NIHSS, BLS (American Heart Association), CEU contact stroke within 4 hours, telemetry experience, minimum of 2 years prior RN experience working in a MS/Tele unit in a major acute care hospital setting, strong MS/Tele background, neuro experience, and Epic charting experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: BSN, ventilator management, post-cardiac surgery experience, post-surgical experience.
• Float: Float to units within competency as required.
• Additional Information: The RN will perform therapeutic interventions, manage patient care, document according to standards, and support evidence-based practices. They will work in a fast-paced environment requiring clinical expertise in neuro, post-surgical, and cardiac care.
