Job Summary:
An opportunity for Registered Nurses (ICU) in Rock Springs, Wyoming. This role involves bedside critical care management in a rural setting, requiring candidates to bring their license on the first day. The position entails working 12-hour night shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Location: Rock Springs, Wyoming
• Position: Registered Nurse (Intensive Care Unit)
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Wyoming State or compact Registered Nurse (RN) license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification, minimum of 2 years ICU experience, minimum of 2 years experience in critical care, and experience with Alaris IV pumps, cardiac monitoring, Mindray vitals, Nicom, Kangaroo pumps, Zo US defibrillators, and Pyxis medication system.
• Responsibilities include managing critical care patients, floating to Medsurg, Emergency Room, and post-partum units as needed, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2 in ICU and 1:4 in step-down areas.
• Equipment utilized includes computerized charting with Cerner EMR, and various monitoring and infusion devices.
• Candidate will work with another RN, may be on call if census is low, and will participate in a department-specific orientation including shadowing.
• The unit operates under HR and education requirements starting day 1, with restraint training on day 2.
• Call-off or cancellation can occur up to 24 hours before the scheduled shift.
