Description

Job Summary:
Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Gainesville, Florida. This assignment involves working in a multi-specialty outpatient surgical center for a duration of 16 weeks. The RN will provide circulating support across various surgical specialties, ensuring adherence to safety and clinical protocols during procedures.

Job Details:

  • Location: Offsite location at a surgical center in Gainesville, FL 32607
  • Position: Operating Room (OR) RN Circulator role, 16-week assignment
  • Shift: 10-Hour Day Shift (7:00 AM 5:30 PM) with variable start times
  • Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, no call, no weekends, no major holidays, no late stay obligations
  • Experience Requirements: Minimum 3 years of RN Circulator experience required, including experience in adult and pediatric orthopedics, urology, gynecology, and pediatrics; strong circulating experience in orthopedics/joints/general, robotics, trauma, and urology; PBS scrub experience preferred but not mandatory.
  • Certifications/Education: Active Florida RN license or compact license, BLS required, ACLS preferred, EPIC EMR experience strongly preferred.
  • Additional Requirements: Must pass specialty exam and EKG interpretation, be able to identify lethal rhythms, and comply with facility safety protocols including respirator and footwear guidelines.
  • Testing: All new RN starts must pass specialty and EKG exams prior to commencing.
  • Notes: Surgical scrubs provided; facial hair must meet respirator guidelines; no permeable shoes allowed.
  • Start Date: 08/10/2026; flexible based on candidate availability.
  • Travel & Float: No travel required; float rotation not required.
