Job Summary:
PennsylvaniaThe organization seeks a certified Surgical Technician for an Operating Room (OR) position in State College. This role involves assisting with surgical procedures and supporting patient care in the delivery of obstetric and gynecologic services. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of work.
Job Details:
- Location: State College, Pennsylvania
- Specialty: Operating Room (OR)
- Schedule: Rotating shift; 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications: Certified; Education requirements include current certification as a Surgical Technician; Experience of 0 years or more in OR settings; Location in Pennsylvania preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of normal and pathologic anatomy and physiology, pharmacologic agents, asepsis and sterile technique, surgical procedures, sterilization methods, and emergency response.
- Additional Information: The position involves assisting in the delivery of patient care in the Delivery Room under supervision, ensuring adherence to Infection Control policies, and maintaining sterile techniques throughout procedures.
