Job Summary:
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse position is located in Madison, Wisconsin. This role involves providing emergency care to adult and pediatric patients in a Level I Trauma Center with advanced certification in stroke and cardiac treatment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Position: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department
• Location: Madison, WI
• Shift: Eve/Night, 12-hour shifts and 8-hour shifts as needed, from 1500-0330 or 1900-0730. Minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Two (2) years of Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last 3 years; Wisconsin RN license or Compact RN license; certifications in BLS, PALS, ACLS (AHA only), TNCC; Epic electronic medical record system experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Charge experience and Level II trauma center experience.
• Additional Information: Traveler will be required to pass a telemetry exam prior to starting. The exam includes identification of lethal rhythms, with a passing score of 80% or higher in two attempts. If unsuccessful, a cardiac interpretation review course certificate is required before a third attempt; failure after three attempts cancels the assignment. All references must be removed from submittals. The facility is a Magnet-designated hospital and nationally ranked hospital rated Wisconsin's #1. Parking is permit-required through UW Transportation, with other transportation options available.
