Job Summary:
This registered nurse (RN) position is located in Marquette, Michigan, within an acute medical-surgical unit of a 225-bed specialty care hospital. The role involves providing care to adult and geriatric patients, with a focus on critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Marquette, MI
• Shift: Days, 7:00 AM 7:00 PM (12 hours)
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0 hours
• Required Qualifications: Requires current RN license, Bachelor's degree, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, 2 years of experience, and experience with Cerner electronic health record system.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience on a medical/surgical unit is preferred.
• Float: Occasional float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  The unit serves adult and geriatric patients (ages 18-125) with a patient ratio of 5:1 to 6:1. The unit is equipped with telemetry monitors, Baxter IV pumps, Kangaroo pump, bladder scanner, and Dynamaps. The work environment demands critical thinking, decisive judgment, and minimal supervision to effectively care for patients.
