Job Summary:
A dialysis nursing position is available in Austin, Texas. The role involves providing compassionate care to patients undergoing dialysis treatments in a dedicated dialysis unit. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This is a contractual position, with a focus on night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, including weekend rotations and weekly call responsibilities.

- Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0

- Certifications & Education: Basic Life Support (BLS); no minimum years of experience required, but acute dialysis experience including Intermittent Hemodialysis (IHD), Peritoneal Dialysis (PD), Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) is necessary
- EMR System: Meditech
- Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with skills in acute dialysis treatments such as IHD, PD, and CRRT will be prioritized
- Additional Information: Permanent positions are available on the unit; the personnel are experienced, with some staff using new equipment and technology. The unit values flexibility and a personable attitude.
- Dress Code: Scrubs in navy color; specific requirements and unacceptable attire apply
- Unit Policies: Attachable unit policies and guidelines are available upon request
- Typical Procedures Performed: Dialysis treatments including IHD, PD, and CRRT
