Job Summary:
The licensed Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery (L/D) and Obstetrics (OB)/Prenatal and Postnatal care is sought for a healthcare provider located in Wilson, North Carolina. This role involves providing specialized maternity and gynecology care on a 12-hour night shift schedule, requiring candidates to bring their license on the first day. The position supports patient care at a facility approximately 45 miles east of Raleigh, with easy access to educational institutions and recreational areas.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (7 p.m. 7 a.m.) with a minimum of 36 hours per week, rotating every other weekend.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license; BLS (Basic Life Support); completed fetal monitoring class within the past 2 years; NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program); ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support); 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience circulating in operating room for Labor and Delivery cases; Meditech or GE Centricity Electronic Health Record (EHR) proficiency.
• Additional Information: Orientation will be conducted bi-weekly. Candidates must reside at least 60 miles or more from the facility to be considered. The unit has a patient ratio compliant with AWHONN (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses) standards, with specific responsibilities in OB, GYN, and simple med/surge overflow. The team is seeking a team player with professional scrubs as the dress code.
