Job Summary:
The operating room open heart nursing professional will be based in Utica, New York. This role involves providing specialized perioperative care to adult patients undergoing open heart procedures, ensuring adherence to facility protocols and patient safety standards. The position offers a dynamic environment for experienced nurses seeking to contribute to complex cardiovascular surgical cases.

Job Details:

Position: Operating Room Open Heart Nurse
Location: Utica, New York
Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, with variable days, including up to 7 days of on-call per four-week schedule, inclusive of one full weekend
Start Date: 08/31/2026
Float Requirements: Yes, if census is low; float rotation may be required
Minimum Years of Experience: 1 year
Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
Required Qualifications: Current New York State licensure as a Registered Nurse; graduate of an accredited nursing program with an associate's degree; 1+ years of nursing experience in a relevant clinical setting; ability to work within a 75-mile radius or locally with applicable rate differences
