Description
Job Summary:
A Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Santa Rosa, California. This role involves providing specialized nursing care for neonatal patients in an acute setting, including patient assessment, coordination of care, patient and family education, and transitions of care. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: Santa Rosa, California
- Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- Shift: Nights, 3x12 hours, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
- Certifications: BLS (AHA) and NRP, with valid expiration dates uploaded
- Licensure: Valid California RN Licensure, uploaded within the last 2 weeks
- Experience: 0 years of minimum experience required; two years of level III or level IV NICU experience preferred, including charge and high-risk delivery experience
- Schedule: Night shifts every other weekend required; voluntary call and floating as needed
- Minimum Experience (Years): 0
- Submittal Requirements: Valid Nursys license within the last 2 weeks, applicable certifications, two references from within the last year, and accurate work history for the past 7 years
- Vaccinations: COVID-19 and Flu vaccines
- Additional Unit Information: Experience with new years holidays, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day is required.
