Job Summary:
This Operating Room (OR) nursing position is based in an acute care setting within a peri-operative department in Aberdeen, South Dakota. Candidates are required to bring their SD Registered Nurse (RN) license on the first day. The role involves circulating surgical cases across multiple specialties, including general, OB-GYN, urology, orthopedics, podiatry, ENT, cardiovascular, and bariatrics. The position offers a full-time schedule with 8-hour shifts, call rotation, and potential to float within the peri-operative department.

Job Details:

• Location: Aberdeen, South Dakota
• Shift Hours: 8 hours per shift
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
• Start Date: 06/29/2026
• Required Qualifications: SD RN License; BLS and ACLS certifications; minimum of 2 years OR experience; experience with the Epic charting system; and ability to work a full-time schedule including call rotation (1-2 days per week, every 2nd-4th weekend, rotating holidays)
• Preferred Qualifications: PALS certification
• Schedule: Full time (64-80 hours), 8-hour shifts, call rotation (1-2 days per week, every 2nd-4th weekend, rotating holidays)
• Float: Potential floating within the peri-operative department, including patient center and PACU
• Additional Information: Initial department orientation provided, followed by equipment and workflow training as needed.

• Trauma Level: CAH (Critical Access Hospital)

• Submission Requirements: Must note if the clinician has previously worked for Sanford Healthif so, the end date must be at least 6 months prior to submission
• Cancellation Policy: Client may cancel up to 12 hours every 13 weeks
