Job Summary:
The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in EASTON, Maryland. This role involves providing specialized patient care within the PACU, managing postoperative recovery for diverse patient populations including pediatrics, adolescents, and adults. The position requires flexibility in shift scheduling and adherence to departmental protocols to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Shift: Day shifts with variations including 8-hour and 10-hour shifts, typically between 07:00 and 17:30, with the PACU operational hours from 07:30 to 20:30.
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Active Maryland RN license, ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications, and at least 2 years of clinical experience in a PACU or similar perioperative setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with charting system Epic, minimum of 2 years of PACU experience, charge nurse experience, and community hospital background.
• Additional Information: The role includes working holidays and every other weekend, with on-call duties scheduled as part of the shift rotation. Candidates must be comfortable floating within the specialty, other units, and sister facilities within scope. The position requires compliance with organizational policies, including vaccine requirements, and participation in onboarding processes within five days of contractual start.
