Job Summary:
A healthcare organization seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical with Telemetry in Brenham, Texas. This full-time position involves providing patient-centered care in an acute care floor setting, with a rotating schedule during the night shift. Candidates are required to bring their RN license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Location: Brenham, Texas
- Specialty: Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE)
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:00 AM, three days per week with rotating weekends, Monday through Sunday
- Required Qualifications: RN license, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, 3 years of Medical Surgical experience, pediatric experience in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) is not specified.
- Preferred Qualifications: Telemetry experience, inpatient acute care experience, IMCU (Intermediate Care Unit) experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Responsibilities include providing comprehensive nursing care with a focus on clinical judgment, clinical inquiry, caring practices, response to diversity, advocacy and moral agency, facilitation of learning, collaboration, systems thinking, and professionalism.
- Additional information: This role involves caring for a 19-bed unit with a patient ratio of 1:5, with some drips managed within the scope of practice.
