Job Summary:
This Medical Surgical Gynecology Floor Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in CHAMBERLAIN, South Dakota. The role involves providing independent nursing care in a Med Surg unit with occasional float to OB, with a focus on gynecology patients. Candidates are required to bring their RN license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license; BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications; minimum of 2 years RN experience; at least 6 months of Medical Surgical (MS) nursing experience in the past year; at least 6 months of Obstetrics (OB) nursing experience in the past year; ability to function independently in the ER and Med Surg unit with up to 5 patients; experience working with Sanford One Charge, Pixis, and Epic Electronic Medical Records (EMR); ability to work every other weekend and holiday; willing to work 3 call shifts within a 13-week contract.

• Additional Information: Dress code requires navy scrubs without logos, with white under uniform or white lab coat; training includes one day of Epic computer training, one day of OB training, and one day of Med Surg training; cancellation policy permits client to cancel up to 12 hours in advance every 13 weeks; unit utilizes EPIC charting system; bed size and patient ratio are consistent with standard Med Surg and OB units.
• Float Requirements: Will float between OB and Med Surg departments.
