Job Summary:
A Nursing position for a Registered Nurse (RN) is available at a facility located in Reno, Nevada. The role involves providing acute care to a diverse patient population in a busy and fast-paced environment, including treatment of cardiac conditions such as NSTEMI, sepsis, dysrhythmias, and post-procedure care. Candidates are required to bring their Nevada RN license on the first day of employment.

• Schedule: Varies based on department needs; includes weekends, holidays, and some call shifts. May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during the schedule period.
• Required Qualifications: NV Registered Nurse license required prior to start; Certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS); Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience; must pass telemetry competency exam, including rhythm strips identification and measurement.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with post-procedure patients such as pacemakers, ablations, cath lab, and Operating Room (OHS); the ability to float to other units such as Intensive Care Units and Medical Surgical units up to their competency level.
• Additional Information: Travelers may be required to float as needed; Renown retains the right to call off shifts without penalty with 48 hours' notice, based on low census.
