Description
Job Summary:
A Labor and Delivery Nurse position is available in Aberdeen, Washington. This role involves providing care in the Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery units. Candidates must bring their license on the first day and should be prepared to work during night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM. The position offers a 13-week assignment with the possibility of picking up extra shifts.
Job Details:
- Location: Aberdeen, WA
- Shift Hours: Nights, 6:45 PM 7:15 AM (12 hours)
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
- Required Qualifications: Valid Washington state license or multi-state licenses with verification of demographics from Nursys; approved 6-hour suicide training; certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and STABLE training (preferred but not required).
- Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Meditech electronic medical record system.
- Additional Information: Knowledge of Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery units is required. Ability to do Scrub is a bonus but not mandatory. Close proximity to PNW beaches and Olympic National Forest. RTO (Request for Time Off) requests must be approved and added to the end of the contract.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must provide proof of verified demographics from Nursys and have completed approved 6-hour suicide training.
- Schedule: Nights, 6:45 PM 7:15 AM, 36 hours per week.
