Job Summary
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Specialist position available in a busy interventional cardiac cath lab located in a healthcare facility. The role involves supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, PCIs, and device placements. The position requires a dedicated professional capable of working in a fast-paced environment with a collaborative team.
Job Details
- Location: 7101 Jahnke Rd, Richmond, VA 23225
- Unit Information:
- Number of Beds: 3 cath labs
- Number of Staff: 10-11 staff per day in cath lab
- Types of Staff: Day shift mix of registered nurses (RNs) and cardiovascular technologists
- Patient Ratios: 3 staff per room
- Equipment: GE X-ray/MacLab
- EMR: Meditech
- Schedule: Day shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications:
- RN license, minimum of 1 year clinical experience, experience working in an interventional cardiac cath lab
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience handling high-volume lab cases with complex procedures such as PCIs, device placements, Impella, and balloon pumps
- Additional Information:
- Must have a professional attitude with strong attendance and punctuality
- Ability to report to hospital within 30 minutes of callback
- On-call obligations during some weekends and weekdays
