Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position available in a healthcare facility in Lone Tree, Colorado. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in a busy surgical environment, supporting a variety of procedures such as vascular/hybrid, trauma, and neuro surgeries. The successful candidate will be part of a team utilizing advanced equipment including DaVinci Robotics and Meditech electronic medical records.
Job Details
- Shift: Days, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license, minimum 1-year current acute care operating room (OR) experience, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, location in Colorado or ability to relocate, and at least 1 year of related experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Robotics experience, prior Meditech experience, experience in large Trauma OR facilities
- Additional Information: The unit has 284 beds with a team of 55 staff members including charge nurses and trauma nurses. On-call responsibilities are from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with no overnight on-call. The unit performs a wide range of procedures including trauma, neuro, and vascular surgeries; it features new equipment and technology, with a focus on team collaboration and high-quality patient care.
